The Christchurch Camino Group held its inaugural meeting in February of 2017. The purpose was to provide a forum where prospective and returned pilgrims could meet to share ideas regarding the Camino.
Over the years the format of our quarterly meetings has evolved to better meet the needs and wishes of our members. We have purposefully fostered a safe environment where people willingly share their thoughts and feelings about a range of Camino topics. A walking group was established to provide further opportunities to meet and exercise.
Our raison d’etre is summed up by our logo: meet, plan, prepare, share, reminisce.
